Just as soon as the traffic clears from the holiday weekend rush, motorists can expect more traffic delays because of work the California Department of Transportation plans on area roadways next week.
Interstate 5
Slab replacement continues on Interstate 5 in San Joaquin County. No two consecutive on- or offramps will be closed at the same time.
» The Nos. 2 and 3 lanes northbound from Eight Mile Road to Highway 12 are expected to be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning from Tuesday through Friday.
» The Nos. 2 and 3 lanes northbound from Highway 12 to Turner Road are expected to be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning from Tuesday through Friday.
» The Nos. 2 and 3 lanes southbound from Highway 12 to Hammer Lane are expected to be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning from Tuesday through Friday.
» The No. 3 lane northbound and southbound between Highway 12 and Hammer Lane is expected to be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
» The southbound offramp to Eight Mile Road and the offramps northbound and southbound to Highway 12 are expected to be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning from Tuesday through Friday.
Highway 99
» The Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes southbound from Woodbridge Road to Turner Road are expected to be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning from Tuesday through Friday for treatment of the bridge decks.
» The southbound offramps to Woodbridge Road and Turner Road are expected to close from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning from Tuesday through Friday for treatment of the bridge decks.
» The median and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes southbound from Milgeo Avenue to Hammett Road in Stanislaus County are expected to be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning from Tuesday through Friday for median barrier construction.
» The median and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes northbound from Hammett Road in Stanislaus County to Milgeo Avenue are expected to be closed from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following morning from Tuesday through Friday for median barrier construction.
Highway 120
» The median, left shoulder, Nos. 1 and 2 lanes and right shoulder westbound from Highway 99 to Interstate 5 and the on- and offramps at Main Street are expected to be closed alternately from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. the next morning Tuesday through Friday to prepare the roadway for repaving.
» The median, left shoulder, Nos. 1 and 2 lanes and right shoulder eastbound from I-5 to Highway 99 and the on- and offramps at Yosemite Avenue are expected to be closed alternately from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next morning Tuesday through Friday to prepare the roadway for repaving.
» The Nos. 1 and 2 lanes on the westbound connector ramp to southbound I-5 are expected to close alternately from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. the next morning Tuesday through Friday to prepare the roadway for repaving.
